My wife and I relocated to North Carolina from L.I., NY and enjoy ownership of Rich/Fran Americana Creations. We sell a wide variety of figurines, plaques, and wreaths molded from durable pecan shell and resin. Our 2"x3" flatbacks, suitable as ornaments, pins or necklaces, etc., are sale priced at $1.00 each and come in various categories such as Easter, Angels, African American, etc. We also carry 2 oz. bottles of Ceramcoat acrylic paints, palettes and brushes. Aside from Christmas, which is year-round for us (we have Santas depicting almost any occupation or sport imaginable), we have figurines in the following categories: African American, Angels, Dogs, Cats & other Animals, Carolers, Church People, Cowboys, Easter Bunnies and Wreaths, Farm People, Halloween, Lighthouses, Native American, Nautical, Snowmen, Sports, Teddy Bears, Thanksgiving, Wizards, and more. My prior experience with painting was strictly amateur do-it-yourself ceilings and walls. I like to tell our customers that while this craft is habit-forming, it has no calories.
